Nalanda Central Co-operative Bank ltd came into existence on 28th February 1925, Inaugurated by M/s Excellency Sir Henry Wheeler K.C.S. Governor of Bihar & Orissa.
Nalanda Central Co-operative Bank ltd was previously known as Bihar Barh Fatuha Central Co-operative Bank. Since 1925, we are providing a perfect banking solution in entire Nalanda District. The Cooperative Societies Act, which was passed in 1904, marked the beginning of Indian cooperative banking.
In order to "promote thrift, self-help, and collaboration among agriculturists, artisans, and persons of restricted means," this Act set out to establish co-operative credit societies. The Nalanda Central Co-operative Bank was registered under Bihar & Orissa co-operative Societies Act. (1935) bearing registration number 44 B.
